What We’re Eating

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Ours was! Dearest Carl got started on one of our “big” house projects: replacing the plaster and lathe with drywall on a wall in our dining room. I did lots of baking: Lemon Poppyseed Bread and homemade pizza crust and cookies which is a recipe I cannot disclose. 😉 We did lots of kitty snuggling (he got kinda tired of us). And we both probably watched too much Dr. Who. Oh! I also received the camera that I won in a giveaway from Lovely Indeed! Nothing like an awesome new camera to get you taking pictures of important events (like house projects and beautiful bread!)!

This week’s menu has some sweet stuff on it that I’ve been wanting to try! Not literally sweet…

Monday: Grilled Romaine BLT and Corn on the Cob
Tuesday: One Pot French Onion Pasta (I keep gravitating toward this one pot stuff!)
Wednesday: Bacon Gravy
Thursday: Pasta Salad and Corn on the Cob
Friday: I’ll be in Michigan for the weekend and Carl will be eating with his family

Yes, I’m leaving for Michigan this weekend for a whole weekend with my best friend and her family, helping pack and talking girl talk and staying up too late and having some good ol’ fashioned fun! And while I will miss my husband and my kitty, I’m so freaking excited!!! This week is going to take forever…
