What We’re Eating

Good morning and happy Monday! Something kinda cool happened over the weekend. After all the storms and flooding and water last week, I started praying. Specifically, I was literally praying that God would take rain from Indiana and give it to California. Well, over the weekend, we didn’t get even half of the rain that was in the forecast… and it rained in California! I just thought that was awesome.

Okay, moving on. How was your weekend? Ours was spectacular! Dearest Carl got the grass cut and worked some more on the patio. I spent Saturday at our church’s Jubilee Sale and got to meet some neat people and serve alongside our church family. And we went shopping and found Dearest Carl some much needed new clothes and shoes. So all in all, it was a successful weekend!

We’re heading into some pretty crazy weeks ahead. Lots of fun planned, lots of work planned, vacation prep, it’s all gotta happen in three weeks. And it starts now. At least I managed to push out a good menu this week!

Monday: Shrimp Summer Boil
Tuesday: Guacamole, Salsa and Chips
Wednesday: Out with friends!
Thursday: Out with more friends!
Friday: Corn dog Muffins and Fruit
