What We're Eating

What We’re Eating

Oh you guys. There were two rooms and a patio full of people. There were three crock pots filled with cheesy lasagna. There were four tables filled with plates. There were five moms in the same room. There are no pictures to share because we were having too much fun being together. Last night Dearest Carl and I had our moms, grandmothers, dads, grandfathers, siblings and two uncles all at our house. That comes to 21 people. Even my little brother who just graduated college came! It was one of the best memories of this year so far. I’m glad things came together so all the moms could just come and sit and chat and rest and not worry about the cleaning or the dishes. It was a beautiful day. I’m so blessed to have such a wonderful family and a home to welcome them into that will accommodate everyone!

This morning I came down to a clean house and a much smaller to do list. Which is perfect for a Monday! Especially when you spend all of Sunday on your feet. I have a garden to weed and some articles to research and a lovely menu to look forward to.

Monday: Biscuits and Gravy
Tuesday: In The Pantry
Wednesday: Strawberry Wraps (The Forest Feast, Pg. 155) and Chips
Thursday: Chips and Dip
Friday: Headed out camping!

What are you enjoying this week? Any delicious leftovers from your Mother’s Day feasts?
