What We’re Eating

Good morning! How was your weekend? Ours was pretty great! Except for one thing. Our couch was not delivered Friday as expected which was extremely disappointing. So hopefully it will be coming this Friday instead. But how will I wait another whole week?! Otherwise, I had my mom over for a nice long morning coffee where we started bullet journals together and Dearest Carl worked long and hard on the upstairs bathroom project and we had friends over for board games and pizza on Sunday and we ate every last piece of cheese from our Bastille Day feast. Definitely the kind of weekend I needed.

This week really holds no less than last week but somehow it seems more manageable. It’s amazing how a routine can help you feel less stressed. I’m getting into reading time with my little bears (starting with The Magician’s Nephew!) and staying motivated to get my other things done around my time with them. So far so good! Also I’m trying lobster rolls this week for the first time which sound amazing. And then there are cucumbers because the garden is full of them. Any cucumber recipe tips?

Wednesday: Lobster Rolls and Salad
Thursday: Date Night!
Friday: Tuna Melts and Chips
