What We’re Eating

I’m not gonna lie, it was a rough weekend. The kind where your emotions get tossed around pretty hard. But I made it through and there were some good parts like clean laundry and bonfires and pizza. Bitterly sweet as they say. This week we’re looking at the end of July already… which is just crazy! Summer is winding down and with the glimpse of cooler weather we had this past weekend, I’m really looking forward to Fall. Fall is my favorite. The sweaters and soups and cider, and it’s one of the only seasons that I will splurge on good candles because I’ll burn them all the time. Anyone want to make a Bath and Body Works trip with me?

This week we’re home a lot. I’m still trying to use up the cucumbers and the tomatoes are getting some color so I’m going to try out that tomato pie. Also, Dearest Carl keeps peeking in the cookie jar as if cookies will magically appear so I have to remedy that as soon as I get to the store for chocolate chips.

Monday: Cucumber Goat Cheese Grilled Cheese and Chips
Tuesday: In The Pantry
Wednesday: Rotisserie Chicken and Tomato Pie
Thursday: Sausage Pasta Skillet
Friday: Burgers and Fries
