What We’re Eating

Good morning! How was your weekend? Ours was quite full to the brim with work and play. After such a full weekend, I’m certainly glad to have a slower Monday to start my week, sipping my homemade latte to some good old Tchaikovsky. This week we actually have a few nights at home so I’m relishing it before the super busy month of October gets here. And there is Fall feeling weather on the horizon which I will welcome with open arms! The new season always seems to give me a fresh push to make lists and cross things off the lists. And bake… I love Fall. I know you probably get tired of hearing me say that. But I’ll say it again before Winter comes.

Have you ever been to The Melting Pot? Well it’s a fondue restaurant and my favorite restaurant ever. So when I found this week’s cheddar fondue recipe a month ago, I just had to try it. Both Dearest Carl and I agree that it was Melting Pot worthy and now I’m making it again. Also, I’m trying to incorporate more things from cookbooks so we’ll see. One more week until Soup Mondays!!!

Monday: Pizza
Tuesday: In The Pantry
Wednesday: Cheddar Cheese Fondue
Thursday: Burgers and Fries
Friday: Apple Cheddar Grilled Cheese (from How to Celebrate Everything, Pg. 162) and Chips
