What We’re Eating

Good morning! How was your weekend? Dearest Carl and I were busy busy as usual these days. Multiple bonfires with deliciousness on a bun, meeting a “long lost” aunt, pantry progress and perfect picnics, it was exhausting but it was a weekend to remember. Can you believe we’re looking at the last week of October? Where has the time gone? Also, not going to lie to you, I’m already on the Christmas planning bus. I’ve been listening to the music and shopping Christmas villages and pinning party ideas… and furthermore, I’m not sorry at all. Sometimes you just need that extra little perk in your life so I decided to stop fighting it and take my time in the twinkly section of Menards. Can I get an amen?

We’re eating one of our favorites tonight. The best part about this soup is it’s still wonderful even after the second or third re-heating. So thick and creamy, just what you want to eat on a gloomy day like today. For the rest of the week, it’s kind of all stuff I have the ingredients for. This week’s grocery money is going to party food.

Monday: Crock Pot Broccoli Cheese Soup
Tuesday: In The Pantry
Wednesday: Spaghetti in Homemade Sauce
Thursday: Pizza Rolls
Friday: Chicken Fajitas
