Good morning! How was your weekend? We certainly had a wonderful one even though we packed it out to the max. We spent a ton of time with our small group which meant lots of laughs and great food. We got to see the new Murder On The Orient Express movie and we were both pleasantly surprised and pleased (being big fans of David Suchet’s portrayal of Poirot). We filled a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child. I caught up on my blog reading and simplified our Fall decor a bit before we go all green and red for the holidays. And we purchased the things we needed to get our Drumstick Dash costumes put together. It was great to get so many things checked off the list!
This week we have a bunch of evening activities but I’ll definitely still be making some delicious recipes. I’ve been craving chicken and dumplings for weeks and that cajun chicken pasta is an amazing comeback. I’m also hoping to make some creme brulee for us but we’ll see how well I manage my time.
Monday: Chicken and Dumplings
Tuesday: I’m taking my not so little sister out for birthday dinner so Dearest Carl will have a sandwich or leftovers.
Wednesday: Pigs in a Blanket and Chips
Thursday: Ravioli and Garlic Bread
Friday: Caesar Salad and Cajun Sausage Chicken Pasta
What are you eating this week?
