What We’re Eating

Good morning! How was everybody’s holiday weekend? Ours was just perfection, minus my Saturday night migraine. Thursday we crushed the Drumstick Dash as the Riddler and Poison Ivy. Everybody loved my red hair though probably not as much as me, so I think I’m gonna keep it for a bit. Anyway, after the race, we ate plates of food and took naps and hung out with all the nieces and nephews and sibs. Friday we got all our Christmas decor up and Dearest Carl’s oldest sister came with her husband and kids and helped put up our tree! It was one of my favorite memories of the weekend. Then Saturday was all wrapping presents and unwrapping presents and staying up ridiculously late with everybody. We were able to slow down on Sunday with Bdubs and afternoon naps after church. It was so full and so good.

This week is basically all pantry food. But that’s okay because we have mint chocolate chip pancakes and cookie baking to look forward to with my little sister next weekend. Then we’re off on all the holiday cooking. Are you ready for this?

Monday: Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup and Crackers
Tuesday: In the Pantry
Wednesday: Summer Sausage and Noodles
Thursday: Ravioli and Garlic Bread
Friday: Crock Pot Chili
