Good morning! How did your weekend go? I have to say, ours was a pretty good one. So far this year, we’ve really done a good job not overloading ourselves. This past weekend held a couple fun parties, some house projects and a chocolate cake. While sometimes I battle FOMO, I have to remind myself that I work so much better during the week when I actually made some time to kick my feet up on the weekend. It will probably get harder during the summer when there are many more opportunities but I’m hoping that we keep up our current pace. It’s just better for my soul.
Got any big plans this week? I basically spent this month’s grocery budget on our Valentine’s Day cheese plate so we’re living on pantry staples till March. It makes me glad that I added a couple things to the freezer at the beginning of the month. Also, yes deja vu. We’re having fried rice again this week and this time I’m adding shrimp! I figured that since I have all the asian sauces, I oughtta make it again.
