It is Friday right? How is everyone feeling? This week, I’ve been managing some anxiety, mainly about the unknowns ahead because I’m such a planner. But then it kinda hit me. My focus was totally off! How our home feels today is my responsibility. It’s always been my responsibility. So if I’m stressed and anxious, our home isn’t going to have the good vibes we need. And since we’re now home so much, that needs to change. That means all the baking and coffee making, candle burning and oil diffusing, cleaning and cozifying our home so we want to be here, instead of being stuck here. So today is a home day for me. I’m going to make scones and clean and organize some things to make this a better space for us. And I’m hoping we can tackle our spare bedroom this weekend… aka, the current dumping ground. What are you doing this weekend?
I also want to give a shoutout to some people. First, I’m so proud of my nurse friends. We can’t even imagine how hard these days are now and how much worse they’ll get in the days to come. Praying for them hourly. Also I’m so proud of the homeschool moms I know! In the past week, I’ve seen so many of these women stepping up and sharing all their curriculums, tips and ideas for other parents who are homebound with kids. Finally these brilliant voices will be heard and admired for what they do!
In case you missed it:
Have a good one!
