Our Easter At Home

Hey! How was your Easter? We had such a lovely day at home and since there probably won’t be another like it, I’d thought I’d share with you what we did!

My family always does Easter baskets the day before Easter so we did ours on Saturday. Currently we’re in the middle of a puzzle but when we’re done, I’m excited to jump into that 3D Harry Potter one in Dearest Carl’s basket. And I couldn’t resist putting this pretty diffuser in mine. Plus candy obviously.

Easter Sunday, we went to church in the morning (Dearest Carl runs the live-stream) and then took a classic family picture outside in front of our lilac bush (top of this post). Dearest Carl fired up the grill to make us some steak and I made pan fried rosemary potatoes, pickled eggs, salad and fresh lemonade. And there was obviously cake for dessert!

The rest of the afternoon we spent lazy on the couch, doing a puzzle, and in the evening, we got to zoom with all of the Watkins family! It was quite the treat to see all the nieces and nephews and really just hear about what everyone was up to since we couldn’t be together.

In the end, I really missed spending the day with family and taking our annual blue lips picture, but I’m sure in the future I will treasure the memory of this time where Dearest Carl and I got to just be for a while.

I hope you all had a nice Easter weekend!
