A Pantry Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls are the thing these days. They look so delicious that one morning, I decided to try it. I took our basic smoothie recipe and topped it with stuff we had in the pantry. And it turned out delicious! So if you’re looking for a way to spice up your breakfast, try this out.

Basic Smoothie Recipe: In a blender, add one frozen banana, 1/2 cup other frozen fruit, 1/2 cup yogurt, 1 cup milk and a drizzle of honey. Blend until smooth. Makes two small bowls.

Toppings that are probably in your pantry:

  • Dried fruit
  • Fresh fruit
  • Nuts
  • Nut butter
  • Granola
  • Seeds (chia, hemp, flax)
  • Shredded coconut
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Crushed graham crackers
  • Honey drizzle
  • Chocolate drizzle
  • Cinnamon
